My company that is firing me...found me another job at a different office. I start on the 5th.

So. First I would like to point out that I am ok, my family is ok, we are all ok here.

On Thursday I went to work like normal. I had my morning meeting, I sold a deal and I was called to a center wide meeting with one of our national big wigs. At said meeting I was told that they were closing the center I work at effective now. I am technically still employed until January 11th, I got a severance package and my family has medical coverage for the next five months.

They took care of me but I can't help but be sad. I know I can find another job. I'm not just a good employee... I'm a great one. I love to work. What hurts is that I really loved this job. I love the company and I loved what I did. There is still an opportunity to rehire at one of the local branches if something becomes open. I would be at the top of the list if it did.

Not sure what I want now. How do you know what you want to do next when you weren't finished with what you were working on.

If you hear of anything great...sales, management or anything creative with good pay...let me know!

This year I got to have my cake and drink it too!

I spent a portion of each day with lots of different people. One problem I always have is that I spend so much time out at night that I never game or see my friends from home. This year the friends from home have been super busy and I haven't seen much of anyone!

I gamed by day/ shopped/ ate/ drank and partied. It was great.

I loved seeing you all!

I bought glasses!!!!!! I can see. It is wonderful. I had no idea how bad my astigmatism has really gotten.

The really great news ..they cost me $18(including shipping). I will be ordering more.

Two weeks from today I will be trying to sleep in but to excited to stay in bed. I will have listened to Emerald Rose, gamed and had drinks with friends the night before. I will gaze at people in costume and they will still smell ok.

I got my order yesterday...trying for the one scent a day rule.

Yesterday I tried Bliss. Surprisingly (or not) it smells of chocolate. I didn't think I like it at first but it really mellowed out to a warm soft smell. Like being in the mall and walking past a coffee shop or sitting on the couch at the holidays with a mug of cocoa steaming on the table.

I 'm not much fr wearing edibles but this one may be the best I've tried.

Someone tried to get me and I wrecked my car avoiding them. Ouch. I managed not to hit anyone and I wasn't hurt but the axle is toast. Not sure yet if it can be fixed. More news to come.

I love my life. Really I do. I say it all the time but ( I bet you saw that coming) sometimes I reflect on the things lost given up in favor of the things gained.

I have a wonderful family...my time to myself has to be scheduled.

I have a husband who loves me and really gets me...I rarely get to spend time with him when I'm not sleeping.

I have a creative and loving son...I have to make sure and dedicate enough time to him or I could scar him for life.

I have a mother-in-law who has always been a great friend and now is a part of our home...I now need a larger house.

I have a job that I love...in order to advance my career I have to work hours that put tension on my relationship.

All of this I can deal with and gladly restructure accordingly. But about once a month my raging female hormones come over me like a tidal wave and I want to kill them all.

I want an organized clutter free home with no kids toys and nothing on the floors. I want to curl up with a book and be uninterrupted until it's done. I want to sit something down and it be in the same place when I need it three weeks later.

This time of the month I find myself melting down and lashing out. Everything that isn't completely controllable is overwhelming from the love I feel to the helplessness that hits me when I realize I can't do everything that needs doing 'today'. I hate it and am trying to work on it. I'm no good at delegating and get frustrated when people can't read my mind and just know how crazy it is in there.

Ugh. That is all.

I wish they could create an alarm that gives you endorphins. I love to exercise but it is always a battle to get out of bed. I literally have to lay out my clothes, shoes and movie I want to see in order to fall onto the ellipitical.
